Continuing Education

The College of Pedorthics of Canada (CPC) recognizes the need for Canadian Certified Pedorthists to maintain their certification by continually growing and improving as allied health professionals. Members of the CPC are required to seek continuing educational opportunities in order to maintain their certification.

The Canadian Certified pedorthic professional engages in self-awareness of practice identifying strengths and learning needs that require ongoing professional development.

The Canadian Certified Pedorthist is accountable for maintaining their competency and participate in the continuing competency program of the CPC. They maintain awareness in trends, issues and changes in pedorthic care and improve their knowledge and skills on an ongoing basis.

Canadian Certified Pedorthists can earn Continuing Education Points in the following ways:

  • Taking Courses/attending seminars
  • Teaching/Presenting
  • Published Technical Article
  • Committee Work with PAC or CPC
